ZEC has been involved with Habitat for Humanity NCR since its inception in 1993. ZEC donated thousands of hours of electrical work and, with the help of many suppliers, have also been able to donate all the electrical components required for the 30+ new homes required for various families in need.

ZEC continues to be a strong supporter and contributor to the Shepherds of Good Hope, C.H.E.O. and several other local charities.
